This is the 5th US Government assessment of how we stand as of 2023. It is a US government document, so it focuses on national topics including water, energy land use, agriculture etc. It has chapters on how climate is affecting Regions  of the US + US territories. It also has analysis of special climate topics including wildfires, supply chains etc.  It is heavily into data with extensive datasets, glossary, and scenarios of the future.

Washington State initiatives

The Washington League of Women Voters publishes a monthly newsletter “LWV Climate Radar “ with information about upcoming public policy legislation.  

Bainbridge Island – Climate Action

In November 2020, Bainbridge Island City Council approved the first-ever Bainbridge Island Climate Action Plan (CAP). This plan is a culmination of a three-year effort by the Climate Change Advisory Committee working with City staff, community stakeholders and the public.
